Tokistar Exhibitor

Press Release

Several hundred metres of Tokistar's Exhibitor have been used to create stunning festoon lighting at The Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam.

Founded in 1838, the Zoo hosts regular musical performances on Summer evenings called ZOOmeravonden. Here, lighting designer Simon Corder has used the Tokistar Exhibitor range to adorn the trees with thousands of 1.8W Warm White (2400K) LED's at 450mm spacing to provide a bright warm ambient glow over the audience below.

Exhibitor strings are supplied with replaceable 0.48W or 1.8W LEDs ranging from warm 2000K to cool 5500K whites or in a variety of vivid colours and at a choice of spacing from 150mm to 450mm.  Also available is a 1.8W virtual incandescent LED version designed to replicate the incandescent filament look traditionally very popular with festoon lighting.

The IP65 rated festoon system has sockets permanently bonded  to the flexible black or white cable and interchangeable LEDs and interchangeable clear, frosted or coloured globes with double 'O' rings to provide weatherproof seal around the light source.

Systems are powered by 24Vac transformers allowing for sustainable, simple layouts with dimming options if required. Available in surface, panel & extruded channel mounting options, the exhibitor system offers specifiers the maximum versatility and adaptability with low maintenance runs up to 70 metres.
