Starting his career as an electrician and gaining over a decade of practical experience in the electrotechnical industry, Ellis developed a strong technical foundation before specialising in lighting controls with a leading UK supplier. His deep understanding of both the technical and practical aspects of lighting makes him a key figure in delivering high-quality architectural and specialist lighting solutions.

As a driving force behind Light Projects and co-founder of the sister company Light Projects Evolve, Ellis is passionate about innovative lighting systems, including advanced controls and sustainable solutions for heritage, commercial, and architectural projects. Based in the UK, he combines his technical knowledge with a collaborative approach to support clients and project teams in creating impactful, well-executed lighting installations across a wide range of sectors.
