A world leader in fibre optic and LED lighting solutions

Fibre optic lighting is a versatile, safe and innovative way to bring light into almost any environment. Using a remote light source, fibre optic systems deliver beautiful points of light without heat, electricity or UV at the illuminated end. This makes them ideal for applications where safety, flexibility and durability are essential – from architectural features and retail displays to museums, swimming pools and outdoor landscapes. With a wide choice of effects, colours and fittings, fibre optic lighting combines creativity with reliability, offering stunning visual impact and long-lasting performance in both commercial and residential settings
THE INTERESTING PART IS WHAT YOU DON’T SEE
Using fibre optic lighting means the light source and electrical feed are separate from the fittings. Light from the generator is carried through an optical harness of Glass or PMMA fibre to multiple endpoints where it is then shaped and controlled as desired. Once installed, the endpoints need never be accessed again — ideal for inaccessible locations:
- Underwater lighting — pools, spas and water features
- Architectural lighting — facades, towers, high level interiors
- Multi point lighting from one source – Starry skies, large decorative schemes
The remote source removes heat from the end fitting — perfect for delicate and sensitive materials:
- Display and showcase case lighting
- Hermetically sealed conservation cabinets
- Ice Bars and Sculptures
Light generators can be mounted in dry and well ventilated places, while end-points will be safe in harsher locations:
- Hot or humid areas, saunas, steam rooms, hammams and ovens
- Coastal or saline environments

LED LIGHT GENERATORS FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR SCHEMES
With major technological advances being made with LED fibre optic generators over recent years and owing to their patented three-lens system, Light Projects is proud to offer the most efficient solutions in the world. Driver options including 1-10V, DALI, DMX and Push dimming.
The light source enclosure is made from a metal casing which houses the following components: LED light source, anti-UV and IR filter; a super quiet silenced fan and a power supply.
The purpose of a fiber optic illuminator is to generate the necessary light for fiber optic cables, light which, passing through each optical fiber, this illuminates the tips of the beams and produces the desired effect. The types of illuminators for optical fibers differ in light power produced, type of light produced (white or rgb) and lighting technology.
A further differentiation must be made on the type of light produced, which can be dynamic or static . The dynamic light illuminators allow the adjustment of the color temperature of the light produced from a range of 2200 ° K to 4000 ° K, allowing for many choices of the desired lighting effects.
Most models are available with either DMX controlled colour or twinkle wheels. Bluetooth, Casambi and Zigbee controlled versions.
FLEXIBILITY AND IMAGINATION
As well as the conventional lighting fixtures illustrated here, fibre optics allow designers to place light wherever their imagination fancies: Acrylic terminations to glow at the end of flexible rods, starry skies on magical ceilings or embedded into the floor of enchanted pools, Side-radiating fibres for soft light under floating seating. All with the benefits of remote light sources.
